Fall 2008 Poker Walk Dates

The Department of Campus Recreation would like to invite all Faculty, Staff, and Students to participate in a poker walk to increase health awareness among the college community.

The walk begins at the Student Union Center Court and participants can register at any time between 3:30pm and 4:00pm and return to the Student Union by 5:00pm. The course is approximately 2.5 miles and will take 60–90 minutes to complete. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for faculty/staff and students.

The Rules
Maps of the predetermined route will be handed out at the sign in table. Each participant must pick one (1) card at each of the five(5) check points on the course. The value for each card can be determined by the score sheet to the right and the highest hand wins.

Point System
Ace: 50pts
King: 40pts
Queen: 30pts
Jack: 20pts
1-10: 1-10pts
