Fitness Club Policies

 ALUMNI STATUS
To qualify for alumni status that entitles a person to a free lifetime membership you must meet the following qualifications:
 
  ▪ Be a graduate of ASU-Jonesboro.
  ▪ Must have completed and received a degree between the dates of  December 1998 and May 2004
  ▪ Alumni must be able to present documentation verifying degree completion of Arkansas State University.
  ▪ Must have documentation verified by Fitness Club Coordinator

 Student workers cannot verify records or approve alumni.
  ▪ Alumni Status does not cover spouses, significant others, children, family members, or friends.
  ▪ All participants must present a photo I.D. at desk each time upon entering the fitness club.
 
This arrangement was agreed upon by the students prior to completion of the Fitness Club in the Student Union in cooperation with the Student Government Association and Division of Student Affairs.
 
 

FACULTY / STAFF MEMBERSHIPS
To purchase a membership to the Fitness Club you must be a full-time employee of Arkansas State University.
 
Memberships may be purchased at the cashiers’ window in the administration building where the employee will receive a receipt for the membership.
The receipt must then be taken to the I.D. center and will be placed on the employees ASU I.D. card to allow access to the Fitness Club.
Membership allows employees of Arkansas State University access to all forms of instruction or classes offered in the Fitness Club.
Memberships do not cover and at this time cannot be purchased for friends, family, spouses, significant others, or children.
ASU I.D. must be presented each time upon entering the Fitness Club.

STUDENT USE OF THE FITNESS CLUB
  ▪ Membership to the Fitness Club is free to all students with a valid ASU - Jonesboro I.D.
  ▪ All student ID's must be presented at the front desk before entering the fitness club. No exceptions will be made.
  ▪ Student ID’s are not interchangeable and all ID's presented not belonging to the person presenting them will be confiscated.
  ▪ All ID's must be presented upon request by any employee of the Fitness Club.
  ▪ All participants of the Fitness Club are expected to conduct themselves in a civil manner at all times with respect for others.
